Geography of the Blue Mountains
Tuesday, January 13th, 2009The Blue Mountains National Park is classified as an uplifted plateau with a number of large rivers cutting through it. One of those waterways is the Cox River, which is renowned for trout fishing.
Myles Dunphy was one of Australia’s earliest conservationists and he did a lot of hiking in the area.
He was also one of the chief activists in getting the are declared a national park.
